Plot Synopsis

Husband-and-wife team Chrissy and Erik Kopplin, owners of KCC Design + Build, are experts at re-imagining small businesses from top to bottom with one objective in mind: to increase revenue. In this one-hour reality series, Chrissy and Erik rely on their years of high-end retail design experience and construction know-how to overhaul a wide range of brick and mortars in just five days -- because their clients can't afford to shut down for weeks on end. From a hair salon in Manhattan, to an independent bookstore in Brooklyn, to a bowling alley in New Jersey, Chrissy and Erik find new ways for them to generate profit and get immediate, tangible results.

In the series opener, "Restaurant in a Hotel Room," Chrissy and Erik find themselves in a tight spot after being hired to transform a tiny Manhattan hotel room into a high-end sushi restaurant and bar. But they have only five days to perform their magic because the hotel owners plan to open the restaurant the day after the re-invention is complete. Can Chrissy and Erik create a trendsetting destination and turn this novel concept into revenue-generating reality?

On Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 10pm-Midnight, CNBC premiered the season finale of FIVE DAY FIX, debuting back-to-back new episodes:

"Bowling for Dollars" (10pm): Chrissy and Erik face their biggest challenge yet when the owner of a beloved New Jersey neighborhood bowling alley asks them to lift his profits out of the gutter. The problem: his enormous building hasn't been updated in over 40 years and the logistical challenges it poses are daunting. Will Erik and Chrissy be able to transform this blast from the past into a family entertainment center that's ready to score big in the 21st century?

"VR Re-Invention" (11pm): Chrissy and Erik are tasked to help the young owner of a cutting edge virtual reality arcade who just moved into a gigantic 5,000 square foot location in Brooklyn that carries an enormous overhead. Their job: to create multiple new revenue streams for this fledgling entrepreneur so he can compete for entertainment dollars in a fiercely competitive landscape. Can Chrissy and Erik re-invent the arcades business model in time - or will the game be over sooner than later?
