Plot Synopsis

Based on "Forgotten West Memphis Three" episodes of Bob Ruff's "Truth & Justice" podcast, this two-part special features Ruff exploring the original case's flaws to lay the groundwork for his evidence-driven investigation. Then, after determining the boys' final movements, Bob meets with a DNA expert to discuss new technology that might break the case wide open. Ruff then examines the case's sensational theories, develops a criminal profile, and seeks permission from the West Memphis Three for new DNA testing. Then, after an exclusive interview related to the case, Bob narrows his focus in his hunt for the truth. Oxygen premiered THE FORGOTTEN WEST MEMPHIS THREE from 8-10pm ET/PT on consecutive nights: Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29, 2020.
