Plot Synopsis

40 GREATEST PRANKS is a two-hour program that counts down the top 40 pranks from television, the web, and home video, including interviews with pranksters and their victims. Every few years, VH1 reveals a new list, premiering second (January 2009), third (March 2011), and fourth (March 2014) installments. Featured pranks often include highlights from TV shows, like SCARE TACTICS, JACKASS, PUNK'D, PRANKVILLE, and BOILING POINTS.

VH1 premiered 40 GREATEST PRANKS 4 on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT. This two-hour countdown featured these shenanigans: PRANK MY MOM's fake ID scam; PrankVsPrank's hot sauce sushi trick; Justin Beiber punking Taylor Swift into thinking she set a boat on fire; Drake being PUNK'D into believing he's trapped in an earthquake; the terrifying sea monster, Barnacle Boy, on SCARE TACTICS; and many more inventive gags.
