Plot Synopsis

Created and executive produced by John Griffin, FROM is a sci-fi horror series that unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest -- including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. The series opens with the Matthews family -- mom Tabitha, dad Jim, teenage daughter Julie, and young son Ethan -- on a road trip that takes a horrifying turn when they are detoured to a small pastoral town from which they cannot leave. When their family RV crashes, Sheriff Boyd Stevens and other residents rush to save them before the sun goes down. At Colony House, Tabitha and Julie grapple with their new nightmarish reality; meanwhile, out in the forest, Jim, Boyd and Kristi struggle to treat Ethan's injuries.

The sophomore season of FROM debuted on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 9pm ET/PT on MGM+. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest - including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. In season two, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers. In the season opener, "Strangers in a Strange Land," in Sheriff Boyd's absence, Donna and Kenny struggle to manage the chaos as a busload of unwitting newcomers arrives in town; Victor and Tabitha go on a chilling journey through the nightmarish labyrinth of tunnels beneath the town.

Season 3 of FROM premiered on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT on MGM+. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest -- including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. In the wake of Season 2's cliffhanger, escape will become a tantalizing and very real possibility as the true nature of the town comes into focus, and the townspeople go on offense against the myriad horrors surrounding them. In the season opener, "Shatter," Boyd feels the town slipping away from him as the weather grows colder and the residents more desperate.
