Plot Synopsis

THE FULL MONTY is an eight-episode dramedy series that takes place 25 years after the 1987 film of the same name. The series follows the same band of brothers as they navigate the post-industrial city of Sheffield and society's crumbling healthcare, education and employment sectors. The comedy-drama uncovers what happened to the gang after they put their kit back on, exploring their brighter, sillier and more desperate moments. It also highlights how the fiercely funny world of these working-class heroes -- still residing in Sheffield -- has changed in the intervening decades. Among the lead cast reprising their film roles are Robert Carlyle, Mark Addy, Lesley Sharp, Paul Barber, Steve Huison, Wim Snape, and Tom Wilkinson. All eight episodes of THE FULL MONTY dropped on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 on FX on Hulu.
