Plot Synopsis

Based on the character created by Colleen Ballinger-Evans, HATERS BACK OFF is a comedy series that delves into the oddball family life of Miranda Sings, an incredibly confident, totally untalented star on the rise who continues to fail upward by the power of her belief that she was born famous -- it's just no one knows it yet. Miranda, a home-schooled young woman, is a singer. A dancer. A master of delusion. And she's got a message for anyone who stands in her way: haters back off! Miranda's family includes: her hypochondriac mother, Bethany; Jim, her uncle and manager; and her normal sister, Emily. Netflix released the entire eight-episode first season on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.

On Friday, October 20, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire eight-episode second season of HATERS BACK OFF. Her life may be in shambles, but Miranda's finally gone viral! Now, she's ready to take on her next big challenge: making it to Broadway. The season opens with Miranda left to fend for herself in an empty house, and she tries to win back Uncle Jim and Patrick. Plus, Bethany sets out on a biblical adventure. Then, Uncle Jim and Miranda try to cash in on YouTube ads -- only to end up at war with a taco chain. Bethany and her ex compete for Emily's affections.
