Plot Synopsis

With stories told first-hand by doctors, nurses and patients, each one-hour episode of HAUNTED HOSPITALS features three stories that are nightmarish mix of paranormal encounter and hair-raising mystery. Stories include: a demonic entity that follows a couple home from their job at a local hospital; a nurse who's confronted by a terrifying reality while visiting her ailing aunt; a husband and wife who are overcome by the sudden stench of decomposition at a nursing home; a nurse who faces down an unearthly apparition at a hospital; a miraculous recovery that may actually be a case of demonic possession at a nursing home; a woman who wakes up with the ability to see ghosts after a near-death experience; a lab technician who is stalked by otherworldly beings in the creepy basement of a hospital; a hospice volunteer with a spectacular gift that heals the sick; a paranormal radio show host who wakes up in the recovery room surrounded by angry ghosts; and many more past patients who come back from the grave to seek revenge. HAUNTED HOSPITALS had its U.S. premiere on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT on Travel Channel.

On Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the second season of HAUNTED HOSPITALS. In the season opener, "They Have No Eyes, Dark Things and Celebration of Death," a shadowy specter follows a doctor home, a patient is tormented by evil entities and a swami healer frees a dying woman from the dark forces possessing her.

The third season of HAUNTED HOSPITALS premiered on Travel Channel on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT. The season opener, "Dance of Death, The Feeder and Swept Away," featured stories about: the spirit of a young man returning to the hospital where he died to seek closure; a near-death experience opening a patient up to the paranormal; and the otherworldly cries of a ghost baby haunting a pregnant woman after she is rushed to the hospital.
