Plot Synopsis

With its 70-degree winters, palm trees and constant sunshine, Hawaii is the most relaxed state in the US. Living there has its quirks, however, and these homebuyers must learn to manage their expectations if they want to find their dream property on one of the Hawaiian Islands. HGTV debuted an hour-long sneak peek of HAWAII HUNTERS on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 10-11pm ET/PT, a program watched by 1.375 million people. One month later -- on Sunday, September 15 -- HGTV aired the official series premiere of the series. In the one-hour series opener, "Investing in the Future and Hawaii Homecoming," young, busy professionals seek a vacation home that can double as an investment property in Maui. Then, a couple whose son is getting older wants to move closer to her family in Oahu.
