Plot Synopsis

HEAD RUSH is a 60-minute commercial-free block of programming targeted toward middle-school students that aims to inspire and excite tweens and teens about the wonders of science and show how science is a vital part of their everyday lives. Host Kari Byron weaves together clips from MYTHBUSTERS, her own experiments, trivia, viewer Q&A and visits from other members of the Discovery family -- such as the STORM CHASERS or CAKE BOSS. An episode consists of three segments, each addressing a specific subject, question or theme of the hour. No subject goes unexplored as Kari dives into science, technology, engineering, mathematics, natural history and astronomy.
