Plot Synopsis

In each 30-minute episode, a different HGTV star travels cross-country in a red 18-wheeler, surprising a homeowner who receives a dream makeover. HGTV asked its viewers to submit videos and photos of their homes, and, based on these entries, HGTV selected a few lucky makeover recipients and matched each one with an HGTV star, such as David Bromstad, John Gidding, Genevieve Gorder, Sabrina Soto and Vern Yip. After the designer arrives in a specially outfitted HGTV'd truck, the transformation begins, giving new life to outdated family rooms, dull basements and boring backyards.
