Plot Synopsis

HIGH CONFESSIONS OF AN IBIZA DRUG MULE is a four-episode docuseries that tells the story of Michaella McCollum, who offers a first-hand account of her shocking journey through the illicit world of drug trafficking. Chasing the party lifestyle, Michaella books a one-way flight to Ibiza, where she quickly falls in deep with a dangerous man. Arriving in Peru, Michaella attempts to blend in as a tourist while preparing to sneak 1.5 million pounds worth of cocaine into an airport. Michaella finds herself trapped in a living nightmare after her trip to the airport leads to her arrest and worldwide attention. Sentenced to more than six years in a maximum-security prison, Michaella tries to adapt to her new surroundings while holding on to the hope of freedom. HIGH CONFESSIONS OF AN IBIZA DRUG MULE made its U.S. debut on Friday, October 21, 2022, as Netflix released all four episodes.
