Plot Synopsis

Created and executive produced by Rebecca Cutter, HIGHTOWN is a drama series that follows one woman's journey to sobriety, overshadowed by an unfolding murder investigation. Jackie Quinones, a hard-partying National Marine Fisheries Service agent, has her life thrown into disarray when she discovers a dead body on the beach -- another casualty of the opioid epidemic. She's convinced it's up to her to solve the murder, putting her at odds with Sergeant Ray Abruzzo, an abrasive but effective member of the Cape Cod Interagency Narcotics Unit. The two of them, along with everyone else connected to the murder, circle each other, and their lives crash together.

Season 2 of HIGHTOWN premiered on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on Starz. In Season 2, the picture-perfect version of summer on Cape Cod clashes with its off-season reality. Jackie Quinones achieving her dream of becoming a real cop, is out to do some good in this world. Thrust immediately into the crime wave of deadly carfentanyl flooding the Cape, Jackie is laser-focused on bringing down drug dealer Frankie Cuevas, the man Jackie holds responsible for the death of her best friend, Junior. For Jackie, it is personal but then again, for Jackie, everything is personal. When Frankie's cousin Jorge joins his operation, he introduces a new level of violence and chaos. With disgraced officer Ray Abruzzo off the force and mired in depression, Jackie finds a new partner in Leslie, the only other female on the force. Through it all, Jackie must walk the tightrope of sobriety as she struggles to stay above an ocean of secrets, betrayal and the shame and failure of her past. Season 2 guest stars include: Luis Guzman as Jorge Cuevas, Frankie's charmingly hilarious but deadly cousin; Jona Xiao as Daisy; Carlos Gomez as Rafael Quinones; Mark Boone Junior as Petey; Cecil Blutcher as Vernon; and Crystal Lee Brown as Janelle.

The third and final season of HIGHTOWN premiered on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT on Starz. Jackie Quinones continues her battle to overcome her addictions as she unravels the intricacies of the drug and crime underworld. All roads lead to Jackie, but for her, redemption never comes clean. In the season opener, "Good Times," state cop Jackie Quinones is back to her wild partying ways; Ray Abruzzi is top cop after taking down the New York connection; imprisoned Frankie Cuevas secures a new partner on the outside.

On Friday, March 8, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT, Starz premiered "Big Fish," the series finale of HIGHTOWN. The case is coming to a close; Ray and Renee are backed against the wall and must make a deal with the devil; Shane's all-business approach brings sworn enemies together and a chance meeting helps Jackie pick a side in the coming battle.
