Plot Synopsis

HODGES HALF DOZEN is a one-hour reality series that follows the Hodges, a small-town Texan family, as they become super-sized overnight with quintuplets. The series covers Liz's challenging pregnancy, their NICU journey, and how they adjust to life as a family of eight. Liz and Daniel used fertility drugs to conceive their first son, Rowan, and tried using the same drugs for a second baby, but instead got five! Liz thinks boys are the most fun and she's now mother to five boys -- Rowan, Connell, Liam, Nolan and Dillon (in birth order) -- and one little girl, Teagan. Daniel, a former Marine, is enrolled in medical school so it's a struggle for the family to stay on budget. Viewers also meet Liz and Daniel's extended family who are there to support them every step of the way since the quints arrived three months early on March 24, 2017, spending the following few months at Ascension's Seton Medical Center Austin in Austin, Texas. The quints finally united with their two-year-old big brother Rowan at their home in Temple, Texas, and, as of Sunday, July 23, the entire family of eight was happily at home to start their exciting new life together.

On Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10pm ET/PT, TLC premiered "The Quints' First Halloween," the season finale of HODGES HALF DOZEN. The Hodges get ready for their first Halloween with their half dozen kids, including matching costumes for the quints. Later, Liz and Daniel are shocked to learn that Nolan, Connell, Liam and Dillon have medical conditions that may require surgeries.
