Plot Synopsis

HOLMES: NEXT GENERATION is a six-episode reality series that follows Mike Holmes and his daughter Sherry and son Mike Jr., who also are home renovation experts, to rescue homeowners from do-it-yourself projects gone wrong. Armed with their dad's strong work ethic, blunt construction advice and on-site manpower, Sherry and Mike Jr. take the lead to fix dysfunctional renovation projects and create family dream homes. In the series opener, "One Good Deed Deserves Another," the trio help a homeowner finish the incomplete improvement projects started by her late husband. After repairing the damaged roof and cracked foundation, the trio will give the property a major refresh with a modern kitchen, new hardwood flooring and a bright, open staircase.
