Plot Synopsis

Sharing his family recipes, favorite treats and signature dishes, Jamie Deen prepares complete family meals, often with the help of his son, Jack, his wife, Brooke, and his mother, Grandma Ginny (aka Paula Deen). In each 30-minute episode Jamie prepares a different meal, including: butterflied chicken with roasted root vegetables and pan gravy, big green salad with jam jar dressing, and lemon tart; gazpacho, the Deen burger with his signature special spin, and one-bowl chocolate cake; grilled skirt steak tacos with roja salsa and charred corn salad; steel cut oatmeal with bananas and strawberries, breakfast bake, hash brown cakes, and tropical fruit salad with honey and lime; grilled lemon and rosemary chicken, bow tie pasta salad, and homemade strawberries and cream ice cream -- courtesy of Jack and Paula; chili, cast iron skillet bread, chopped crunch salad, and salted caramel pecan pie; and rosemary beef tenderloin with blackberry red wine sauce, potatoes au gratin, shredded Brussels sprouts, and engagement ring parfait -- all to celebrate his and Brooke's anniversary.
