Plot Synopsis

HOT PACKAGE is a parody of entertainment newsmagazines like ACCESS HOLLYWOOD and THE INSIDER, for which Season 1 studio host Pat O'Brien was at the helm from 1997-2004 and 2004-2008, respectively. In addition to O'Brien being the studio host, Season 1 also featured Derrick Beckles and Anastasia Roark as co-hosts and correspondents. For the show's second season Beckles was promoted to host, Roark came back as co-host/correspondent, and Jeff Deane Turner was added as the Hollywood Insider. Instead of real celebrities and actual news stories, HOT PACKAGE uses found footage, old video, and new segments with non-celebrities and little-known stars. Whether the show features a "Ones on One" segment with porn film editor Rob Spallone, fake celeb gossip, or an in-studio musical performance, each 15-minute episode of HOT PACKAGE explores the bowels of Hollywood. Adult Swim premiered the second season of HOT PACKAGE late-night Friday (early morning Saturday) at 12:30am ET/PT on Friday, February 27, 2015. Season 2 features even more one-of-a-kind found footage clips and insights from A-list celebrity notables, such as Mark McGrath, Heidi Fleiss, Fabio, Kenneth Anger and Corey Feldman.
The Season 2 finale of HOT PACKAGE debuted late-night Friday (early morning Saturday) at 12:30am ET/PT on Friday, March 27, 2015 on Adult Swim. In the season ender, "Scandal," Derrick gets advice from Heidi Fleiss when he's seen destroying mysterious video tapes. Plus, the finale includes Mark McGrath's send off.
