Plot Synopsis

A HOUSE DIVIDED is a drama series that follows the direct descendants of Letty Sanders, an enslaved woman who after arriving in Los Angeles in 1821, grew to become the wealthiest Black woman in the newly formed city. Centering on the present-day members of the highly esteemed Sanders family, Cameron Sanders has raised his three children in opulent wealth. After the sudden passing of his wife amidst a brewing government investigation into the business dealings of the family-owned bank, a new woman emerges from the shadows determined to be the next Mrs. Cameron Sanders. As secrets are uncovered and scandals emerge, the Sanders family will be forced to band together for the sake of their survival or risk the ultimate demise of their long-standing legacy. A HOUSE DIVIDED made its linear television debut on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT on WEtv, with a new episode debuting each Thursday through November 11.

Season 2 of A HOUSE DIVIDED debuted on Thursday, April 30, 2020 on UMC. The new season finds Carissa Walker on a calculated war path as she solidifies her position as the new matriarch of the Sanders family. Cameron Jr. takes his best shot at Carissa. Torrance rests and recovers, while holding a secret from his family in an effort to protect his brother. Cameron Sr. returns from exile in Panama, and attempts to pick up the pieces of his family empire. Brittney and Keno finally face off over Cameron Jr.'s affections. The second season made its linear television debut on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 10:05pm ET/PT on WEtv, one week after Season 1 ended its first run on TV.

UMC released the third season of A HOUSE DIVIDED on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT. In Season 3, the Sanders family continues to navigate chaos and turmoil as their world rapidly unravels. The new season opens with Stephanie trying to recover, and struggling with her reality. Meanwhile, Cameron Sr. fights to unify his fractured family. Brittany senses a rift within her love triangle. Season 3 made its linear television debut on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 10:05-11:45pm, as WEtv debuted back-to-back episodes. Stephanie tries to recover; Cameron Sr. wants unity; Brittany feels a rift in her love triangle. Stephanie finds a peaceful place; Carissa is tormented by her past; Nigel tests Dante's expertise.

A HOUSE DIVIDED kicked off its fourth season on Thursday, January 13, 2022, as AllBlk released the first installment of the new season. The saga continues as truths are revealed, lies are told and the family further unravels this season. Carissa struggles with learning to trust again, while battling her biggest adversary, Alexis. Cameron Sr. navigates an international extortion plot while trying to maintain his freedom... to no avail. Meanwhile, Jupiter uses her wits and sex appeal to outsmart just about everyone, as Auntie Mae and Cam Jr. make moves to exert their power.

The fifth and final season of A HOUSE DIVIDED premiered on Thursday, January 12, 2023 on AllBlk, which released the first episode of the new season. All bets are off as Cameron Sanders Sr. relentlessly exacts his revenge on all who plotted against him. Brother James becomes increasingly uneasy about his role in the Sanders family crimes, and begins to violently cover his tracks. Summer contends with a terrible loss and boldly pushes forward to execute Alexis' plans. Cam Jr.'s ambition grows, as he reluctantly pulls Brittany along with him, which eventually may become his downfall. Stephanie and Auntie Mae lock in a perilous power struggle to continue to take control of the Sanders family financial empire. Torrance begins to learn the true nature of his family and their dealings, which becomes too much for him to handle. He begins to see how much his family's sins have cost him. He takes his revenge. Carissa grows anxious as she learns there's a target on her back, but she decides to take control and won't let the family destroy her. All of this and more as the ruthless drama continues. In the season opener, "Time of Betrayal," Carissa finds an unlikely ally in Jupiter, while Aunt Mae tightens her hold over the Sanders estate. Cameron Sr. and Stephanie finally come to an understanding while Torrence has a visit from Carlyle.

On Thursday, February 16, 2023, AllBlk released "It's Been Too Long," the series finale of A HOUSE DIVIDED. Jupiter does one last favor for Cameron Sr. Stephanie uses Brother James to start cleaning house, but he is having doubts. Carissa makes a move to tie up loose ends.
