Plot Synopsis

I (ALMOST) GOT AWAY WITH IT: CONFESSIONS is a one-hour documentary series that features former fugitives talking about their lives on the run, how they survived, where they went and how they almost got away with it. On Friday, March 4, 2022 from 8pm-Midnight, Investigation Discovery released four back-to-back episodes:

"Web of Deceit" (8pm): A drug dealer shoots his girlfriend and flees to Mexico, but a new romance may thwart his escape; a jailbird tries to evade capture by stealing a country music star's tour bus.

"Under the Radar" (9pm): A prison escapee forges a new identity and spends two decades on the run before he slips up; a drug dealer flees across state lines after attempting to hit and kill a subordinate with her vehicle.

"Disguised and Disfigured" (10pm): An ex-cop's disturbing behavior leads to her arrest, but she skips bail and obtains plastic surgery, hoping authorities never find her; a dangerous criminal's love of money, cars, drugs and women leads to his undoing.

"Psychotic Rampage" (11pm): A gambler stabs his girlfriend to death in a casino parking lot and flees across the country, surviving on his winnings; a dangerous psychopath stalking his ex-girlfriend leaves a trail of terror as he searches for her.
