Plot Synopsis

By combining first-person accounts with testimony from medical personnel and family members, this series profiles the extraordinary stories of people who have experienced the afterlife and lived to tell about it, while also showing how their encounters with death have changed their outlooks forever. These compelling and emotionally gripping stories include: Michael, a 16-year-old high-school student who was sitting in class and suddenly found himself high up in the air looking down at his body which had fallen to the floor under cardiac arrest; Julie, who was in a car accident and found herself in a cave-like tunnel with a strong sense of needing to go back; and Charles, who was in a motorcycle accident and found himself running towards his deceased mother and grandmother who tell him to turn back that this is not his time.
