THE IHEARTRADIO ALBUM RELEASE PARTY is a series of one-hour specials, highlighted by performances and interviews with the featured musical superstars releasing a new album. The first special, THE IHEARTRADIO ALBUM RELEASE PARTY WITH JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, was filmed at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles during a release party for his new album, "20/20 Experience," and broadcast the following day on The CW. Plus, the telecast included an exclusive eight-minute world premiere of Timberlake's new music video. Subsequent episodes featured: Katy Perry, whose special originally aired on Friday, October 25 at 9pm ET/PT on The CW, from her release party at the grand opening of the iHeartRadio Theater Los Angeles, located in Burbank, CA; Lady Gaga, whose special originally aired on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 8pm ET/PT on The CW, from her release party for "Artpop" at New York's Brooklyn Navy Yard; and One Direction, supporting their "Midnight Memories" album release party on Friday, November 22 at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles, which aired on The CW on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT.

On Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 8pm ET (live)/PT (tape), The CW premiered THE IHEARTRADIO ALBUM RELEASE PARTY for Maroon 5 to celebrate the band's new album, "V," set to be released one week later on September 2. Featuring musical performances and interviews with Adam Levine and the members of the musical super group Maroon 5, this one-hour special was broadcast live (for east-coast viewers) from the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles. In addition to the television broadcast on The CW, the event aired as a special one-hour broadcast on Clear Channel Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR), Hot-AC and AC stations around the country.
