Plot Synopsis

Created by Anna Maliszewska, INFAMY is a teen drama series that centers on 17-year-old Gita, who is caught between her Roma roots and pressure from her friends as she tries to become a hip-hop musician despite her parents' strict rules. After years of living in the UK, Gita and her family move back to their native Poland. Upon returning, the girl tries to find herself and discovers her passions, at the same time trying to live a normal teen life. But when she falls in love, she must balance the modern world of teenagers and traditional family rules. All eight episodes of INFAMY dropped on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 on Netflix.
