Plot Synopsis

As told through the unique perspective of executive producer Nancy Grace, each one-hour episode of INJUSTICE WITH NANCY GRACE reveals a crime story that involves unclear motives, botched investigations, wrongful accusations, unjust sentencing and suppressed evidence. In conjunction with exclusive first-hand interviews, archival footage, and cinematic recreations, Grace, who spent a decade as a felony prosecutor and 20 years as a journalist, and whose fiance was murdered when she was just 19 years old, uses her personal and significant drive to seek justice. "I don't just cover crimes, I solve them," says Grace. "To solve unsolved homicides, you need a fire inside you, propelling you to uncover the tiniest shards of evidence for answers. The sophomore season of INJUSTICE WITH NANCY GRACE premiered on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on Oxygen. In Season 2, Grace continues to shine a light on the investigative and legal injustices in the cases of Lori Vallow's children, JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan, Jennifer Dulos, Chase Massner, and others along with a special episode on the unfolding story of murdered US Army soldier Vanessa Guillen. Grace lends her expertise in each episode and examines circumstances that illustrate the varied failures, biases, and inconsistencies in the legal system. She also focuses on the ways law enforcement, communities, and victims' families forge a path forward in seeking justice. As Grace explores these twisted stories of injustice, she helps everyone come out on the other side with a new understanding while also helping solve one of the cases herself. In the season opener, "Lori Vallow: A Mother's Madness," a devout LDS mother, Lori Vallow, encounters a doomsday author, and then descends down a path of darkness into a dangerous cult. The result is a trail of broken lives and dead bodies...including two of Vallow's own children.
