Plot Synopsis

This half-hour reality series chronicles how prefab and modular houses are designed, delivered and constructed, instantly providing homeowners with their dream homes. Each 30-minute episode of INSTANT DREAM HOUSE documents one or two homes, including: recycled steel shipping containers that are transformed into a home in the Cascade Mountains; a home with a futuristic cantilever design that makes it possible to construct homes on challenging build sites on a Georgia plain and Washington mountain top; a glidehouse that becomes a weekend getaway on Puget Sound; a dome house that an Oregon couple builds with the help of their friends and family; and many more instant-build homes.
