Plot Synopsis

Eight young adults move into a summer share in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, one of the most popular summer hot spots. These over-the-top Guidos and Guidettes juggle work, love, nightlife, friendship and the drama that ensues. The Guidettes are: Jenni (a.k.a. JWOWW'); Nicole (a.k.a. 'Snooki'); and Sammi (a.k.a. 'Sammi Sweetheart'). The Guidos are: Mike (a.k.a. 'The Situation'); DJ Pauly; Ronnie; and Vinny. In Season 2, the crew descended on Miami Beach for the winter, returning to Jersey for Season 3. The cast then spent Season 4 in Italy, returning to Seaside Heights for Season 5 and the show's final season, Season 6, which premiered on October 4, 2012. In Season 6: The Situation is navigating the party world of clubs and nightlife while maintaining his sobriety and mending relationships with his former roommates; Snooki, pregnant at the time this season was filmed, moved into a house next door to the Shore house; JWOWW ends up wearing an ankle brace and is on crutches after a bar fight; Vinny arrives for the Summer and decides to take a vow of celibacy, which doesn't last long; Deena Nicole gets a boyfriend and gets arrested; Paul D is still the only single one in the crew; and Sammi and Ron make up with each other before Summer begins.

MTV announced the return of JERSEY SHORE, to be titled JERSEY SHORE FAMILY VACATION, which will feature original housemates: Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul 'Pauly D' Delvecchio, Jenni 'JWOWW' Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino. To premiere in 2018.
