Plot Synopsis
JUDY JUSTICE is an arbitration-based series that features Judge Judy Sheindlin returning to the courtroom. Joining Judge Judy Sheindlin in the courtroom are bailiff Kevin Rasco, a retired Los Angeles probation officer and entrepreneur; court stenographer Whitney Kumar, a board-certified court reporter in the state of California; and Sarah Rose, a law clerk and Judge Sheindlin's granddaughter, bringing in a new generation of legal analysis. New episodes of JUDY JUSTICE are available every weekday on IMDb TV, beginning Monday, November 1, 2021, when the streaming service released the first four episodes. After a month-long break, JUDY JUSTICE returned with new episodes on Monday, January 24, 2022, as IMDb TV released five new episodes. In the winter premiere, "Bride's Cable Car Calamity; Apartment Up in Flames," Her Honor rules on two cases. In the first, a six-figure San Francisco wedding comes to an abrupt halt when a cable car rented to transport the bridal party breaks down. The newlywed bride and her father sue for damages. In the second proceeding, a flight attendant's apartment is deemed uninhabitable after her boyfriend allegedly causes a fire while she is at work. Additional cases in this batch of five episodes include: Good Samaritan Teen Rip-Off; Beauty Salon Brawl; Unwanted Dog Pregnancy; Divorced Parents' Dispute; and Lipo-Surgery Sister Care.
JUDY JUSTICE returned for its second season on Monday, November 7, 2022 on Freevee (formerly known as IMDb TV), as the streaming service released four new episodes. A new episode drops every weekday through December 16, with a second installment of episodes coming in 2023. In the season opener, "Dog Gone Wild," a man sues for the 10k court max after being attacked by an off-leash boxer who escaped its dog walker -- and a neighbor's security camera captured the incident. In the second episode, "Pedestrians Struck by Car," an uninsured, unlicensed teenager takes her mother's car and strikes a married couple in the crosswalk; they sue for 10k in medical bills and pain and suffering. After a five-week break, JUDY JUSTICE returned with three new episodes on Monday, January 23, 2023 on Freevee. In the winter premiere, "Romantic Reunion Fail and Wolfdog," Her Honor presides over two cases. In the first, a couple reunites after 30 years -- only to be torn apart over personal loans after an ex-girlfriend comes back into the picture. In the second case, both parties sue for the 10k court maximum when the cost of a Wolfdog and alleged loss of income are disputed. New episodes drop daily.
On Monday, January 22, 2024, the third season of JUDY JUSTICE debuted on Freevee, which released the first three episodes of the new season. A new installment drops every weekday until April 5, with a second batch of episodes coming later this year. In Season 3, the Queen of the Courtroom is back and bigger than ever! Judge Judy Sheindlin presides over new cases and helps real people with her signature blend of sharp wit and wisdom, hilarious candor, and unwavering honesty. Joining Judge Sheindlin in the courtroom once again is newly minted lawyer Sarah Rose, who serves as the law clerk; court stenographer Whitney Kumar, a board-certified court reporter in the state of California; and bailiff Kevin Rasco, a retired Los Angeles probation officer. In the season opener, "Baseball Brawl," a youth baseball umpire sues for the $10K court maximum after being violently attacked by a coach whose team was disqualified for fielding illegal players; the umpire's son stepped in to defend his father, only to become the target of an attack by angry parents.
On Monday, August 5, 2024, JUDY JUSTICE returned with additional Season 3 episodes as Freevee released three new installments. New episodes drop daily. In the mid-season debut, "Standoff After Bar Stabbing," former friends sue each other for the $10K court limit, after an altercation at a bar where one woman stabbed the other two. Claims of self-defense and counter-claims of harassment are further complicated by the fact that one defendant is now married to the plaintiff's ex-boyfriend.
