Plot Synopsis

KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB'S UNDER YEARS is the first-ever SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS spinoff. The CG-animated prequel series follows 10-year-old SpongeBob SquarePants and his pals during summer sleepaway camp where they spend their time building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck at the craziest camp in the kelp forest, Kamp Koral. SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Sandy, and Plankton are joined by two new characters: Nobby and Narlene, narwhal siblings who live in the woods surrounding the camp. KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB'S UNDER YEARS premiered with six episodes on Thursday, March 4, 2021 on Paramount+, the same day the streaming service launched. KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB'S UNDER YEARS made its linear television debut on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 7pm ET/PT on Nickelodeon. On Thursday, July 22, 2021, KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB'S UNDER YEARS returned for its mid-season debut, as Paramount+ released the next six episodes. In the summer premiere, "What About Meep?; Hard Time Out," an unsatisfied anchovy strays from his brothers, so SpongeBob and Patrick help him find his true identity; SpongeBob is sent to time out on behalf of his buddy, so Patrick does what he can to rectify the situation.

Season 2 of KAMP KORAL: SPONGEBOB'S UNDER YEARS debuted on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 on Paramount+, which released 13 episodes of the new season. In the season opener, "Mad Science Squirrel; To Pop a Bubble," Plankton recruits Sandy to help in his lab; SpongeBob's new friend proves unpopular at camp.
