Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Hannah Simone, KICKING & SCREAMING is a one-hour competition reality series that teams 10 expert survivalists with pampered partners to face the toughest challenges of their lives. The series drops these unlikely duos into a tropical jungle in Fiji, where they must overcome dangerous animals, raging rivers, hunger and extreme weather. To win the competition -- and a cash prize of $500,000 -- the experts have to drag their partners kicking and screaming to the finish line. The 10 novices include: Angelica Bridges (Beverly Hills, CA), a 46-year-old mom and former BAYWATCH star; Maxwell Carr (Buffalo, NY), a 26-year-old fashion student; Natalie Casanova (Los Angeles, CA), a 29-year-old gamer, YouTuber and livestreamer; Michael Forbs (Powder Springs, GA), a 31-year-old delivery driver; Juliana Herz (New York, NY), a 27-year-old model; Kristen Kozak (Winchester, CA), a 30-year-old housewife; Claire Schreiner (Los Angeles, CA), a 30-year-old housewife; Samuel Shankland (Orinda, CA), a 25-year-old professional chess player; Elaine Swann (Oceanside, CA), a 49-year-old etiquette coach; and Nakeisha Turk (Atlanta, GA), a 26-year-old professional cheerleader. The 10 expert survivalists leading the way are: Brady Cervantes (Addison, TX), a 28-year-old former U.S. Marine scout sniper; Ben Domian (Oviedo, FL), a 33-year-old pre-med student and former Air Force survival, evasion, resistance and escape specialist; Terry Fossum (Veradale, WA), a 52-year-old lifelong Boy Scout; Caleb Garmany (Albany, GA), a 25-year-old in private security who served in the military; Tamra Hyde (Salt Lake City, UT), a 39-year-old wilderness guide; Hakim Isler (Fayetteville, NC), a 39-year-old martial arts instructor; Jessie Krebs (Pagosa Springs, CO), a 49-year-old wilderness therapy field guide and former Air Force survival specialist; John McPhee (Raeford, NC), a 46-year-old mercenary; Ras Vaughan (Coupeville, WA), a 45-year-old off-the-grid survivalist; and Jason White (Austin, TX), a 37-year-old former recon marine.

On Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 9pm ET/PT, FOX premiered the season finale of KICKING & SCREAMING. In the season ender, "Survival of the Fittest," the race to the finish line is on as the three teams fight for their spot in the finale. The teams are met with an elimination challenge right from the start, and the winning teams are tasked with preparing for the final challenge, both mentally and physically. After reflecting on their journeys and honing in their survival skills, each team goes into the final elimination challenge ready to give it their all, but only one team can come out on top.
