Plot Synopsis

Based on the Australian TV series of the same name, LAID is a half-hour dark comedy series that follows Ruby, who finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways and must go back through her sex timeline to confront her past in order to move forward. Ruby's best friend AJ helps make Ruby's sex timeline, so Ruby can track down all of her exes -- the guys, the girls, the one-night stands, the man she only remembers as "Green Day Shirt" -- to tell them that they're going to die. Written and executive produced by co-showunners Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford McKenna, LAID is a f*cked up rom-com where the answer to "why can't I find love, is there something wrong with me?" is a resounding "Yes." All eight half-hour episodes of LAID dropped on Thursday, December 19, 2024 on Peacock.
