Plot Synopsis

LAKEFRONT BARGAIN HUNT RENOVATION potential home buyers as they tour three for-sale homes, purchase the perfect fixer-upper, and then renovate and reveal their new property. Each 60-minute episode features a different homeowner, with the first half of the show following a typical LAKEFRONT BARGAIN HUNT format -- a real-estate agent showing a client three different properties -- and the second half of the show featuring the design and renovation of one room in the new home. The production company provides each homeowner with a designer, a team of workers and a budget to execute the room renovation. In the series opener, "Lone Star State Update," after spending years living all over the world, Teresa and Jeremy find the perfect vacation home for their family in their home state of Texas. They're ready to put down roots, but their new lakefront home is in need of some TLC. Can they make this lakefront property their dream house without busting their budget?

Season 2 of LAKEFRONT BARGAIN HUNT RENOVATION premiered on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 9-11pm ET/PT, as HGTV debuted back-to-back new episodes:

"Fix Up on Deep Creek" (9pm): A couple heads back to their favorite spot from their college days to search for a new vacation home. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, Deep Creek Lake is the largest freshwater body of water in the state of Maryland and the couple thinks it will be a great place to settle down. They're searching for a fixer upper they can customize with three bedrooms, an open concept design, a large outdoor living space and easy lake access for everyone in the family.

"Next Up: Niagra" (10pm): Now that their three children are getting older, a couple decides to put their RV in park and find a getaway close to their home in Buffalo, New York. They find a property along Lake Ontario in Niagara County that could be the perfect escape for the family but it needs some work. While they're not afraid of renovations, their tight budget leaves them feeling as though they're in over their heads.
