Plot Synopsis

LATE NITE EATS is a half-hour reality series that follows Chef Jordan Andino, as he travels across America while on the hunt to find restaurants that reign supreme in the late-night food scene. He meets with passionate chefs to taste their most popular dishes and learn how they are revolutionizing after-hours dining. In each 30-minute episode, Jordan travels to a different city. In the series opener, he hits the streets to uncover unexpected late night delights in Pittsburgh. First Jordan heads to The Yard in Shadyside where they're grilling up more than 29 different kinds of grilled cheese sandwiches! He tries a breakfast grilled cheese that's sure to leave egg on his face before slaying his hunger with their Buffy the Mac Slayer, which is filled with buffalo chicken and gooey mac and cheese. Then Jordan heads downtown to Caribbean-themed Pirata for flavorful Jamaican beef patties, skirt steak tacos and adventurous pirate life. Lastly, it's a trip to Umami in Lawrenceville for some mouth-watering Japanese-style fried chicken and deep-fried mochi ice cream. The 13-episode second season of LATE NITE EATS premiered on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10pm ET/7pm PT on Cooking Channel. In Season 2, Chef Jordan Andino visits a new roster of restaurants that reign supreme in the late-night food scene. In the season premiere, Jordan travels to Washington D.C. and sinks his teeth into a cheesy pimento burger at gastro pub Eat Bar, a neighborhood spot in the Barrack's Row neighborhood where Capitol Hill staffers love to unwind, and then it's down Blagden Alley for a Hong Kong-style bubble waffle sundae from Tiger Fork's late-night menu. He winds up his night at The Passenger for their infamous porchetta sandwich. In upcoming episodes, Jordan visits Charlotte, Boston, Memphis, Halifax, Orlando, Denver, Calgary, Milwaukee, San Antonio, Philadelphia, Toronto and Hoboken.

On Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 6pm ET/3pm PT, Cooking Channel premiered "North Jersey," the Season 2 finale of LATE NITE EATS. Jordan kicks off his night in northern New Jersey with coconut crab buns at Dullboy in Jersey City. For his next stop, he's headed just a few blocks away to Talde for Filipino-style short ribs. Jordan's last stop takes him to Hoboken's Antique Bar and Bakery for the biggest bread pudding he's ever seen and a bit of local history.
