Plot Synopsis

LOREDANA, ESQ. is a one-hour reality series that follows Loredana Nesci, a former police office turned criminal defense attorney, as she builds cases for her clients while balancing her thriving law practice in Redondo Beach, CA with her family: boyfriend Robert and her son, Rocco. After making a name for herself in the LAPD as the officer who released the hostages in the 1997 North Hollywood Shootout, Loredana returned to her home state, Connecticut, to attend Quinnipiac University School of Law and practice law, where "The Connecticut Law Tribune" dubbed her The Legal Diva in July 2003. Soon after, she returned to Southern California, setting up her new law office just blocks away from the Redondo Beach Pier. In this series, Loredana navigates the twists and turns of the criminal defense system, while defending those who sorely need it -- not hardened criminals, just regular people, some of whom may have made bad choices and find themselves judged and condemned. To help them, she relies on her unconventional and potent passion for discovering the truth and doing what she thinks needs to be done. In each one-hour episode, Loredana helps two people, including: a client who has been accused of mortgage fraud; a client who has been caught on tape physically assaulting a business partner; a family friend who drew a gun on robbers; a nudist who insists on getting married in front of City Hall; a client who was stabbed six times during a dispute; a comedian client who claims fellow comics are stealing his signature catchphrase; a client caught with stolen credit cards; a client trying to save his radio station from an investor and an over-the-top disc jockey; clients whose pot dispensaries were raided during a crackdown on medical marijuana sales; a returning client who is charged with a second physical assault; a biker with a less-than-perfect past, who claims police planted evidence in his home; and a dishonest lawyer who duped a woman out of her money.
