Plot Synopsis

LOST U-BOATS OF WWII is a six-part docuseries that follows treasure hunter Darrell Miklos and his team, as they attempt to locate missing Nazi U-boats he believes are holding billions of dollars in stolen gold, jewels, and art at the bottom of the Caribbean Sea. They embark on a treasure hunt by both land and sea, interviewing historians, locals and diving the waters in and around Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic, uncovering a wide-range of German WWII-era artifacts and clues as they attempt to locate the missing U-boats. For almost 80 years these supposed treasure laden U-boats have remained in their watery graves. Now, Darrell Miklos, son of legendary treasure hunter Roger Miklos, is setting out to complete a lifelong mission of finding the missing U-boats and their priceless cargo. After first setting eyes on what he believes was one of the modified U-boats while diving as a teenager, Darrell has now found considerable evidence to back his initial sighting years ago. He has in his possession a chart from 1948, created by a former U.S. Navy pilot that shows the location of what could be seven U-boats near the Dominican Republic. Episodes include:

"Sunken Nazi Secrets" (Tuesday, February 27, 2024): Treasure hunter Darrel Miklos and his team are embarking on a mission to solve one of the most intriguing mysteries in history: the disappearance of the Nazi's looted WWII treasure, estimated to be worth billions.

"Lost Nazi Artifacts" (Tuesday, March 5, 2024): Treasure hunter Darrell Miklos' search for treasure-filled, lost Nazi U-Boats takes an unexpected turn when a 98-year-old local eyewitness gives him a tip that changes the course of his entire investigation.

"The Nazi's Secret Weapon" (Tuesday, March 12, 2024): After finding Nazi artifacts at a sunken pier, Darrell and his team continue their search to a site known as Target 3 where they find a possible component of a Nazi secret weapon that changes the direction of their investigation.

"Treasure Island" (Tuesday, March 19, 2024): With weather preventing Darrell Miklos and the team from diving from the boat, they attempt a risky strategy. Garth makes a solo journey to explore a deserted island where he discovers a mysterious cross.

"Battle Ballistics" (Tuesday, March 26, 2024): Treasure hunter Darrell Miklos and his team make a discovery far older than they expected. Later, new evidence emerges suggesting that the team may have uncovered a long-lost battle at Target 4.

"The Final Discovery" (Tuesday, April 2, 2024): Racing an incoming hurricane, Darrell Miklos and his team are forced to make tough choices. But after a season-long search, they locate the source of the massive magnetometer hit recorded at Target 4.
