Plot Synopsis

When crimes happen in a small town, it shocks the foundation of the community and until the perpetrator is caught, rumors swirl and everyone is a suspect. Each episode centers on an incident that destroyed the calm of a small town, places where these murders will be talked about for decades. Each story turned these communities upside down and exposed secrets from these havens of Americana, including: Brooke Henson, who has a fight with her boyfriend, walks away down Henderson Drive in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, and vanishes without a trace; the sadistic murder of storeowner Lynnea Gran and the unexpected twist that breaks the case; Walter Sullivan's car and body are found at the bottom of a ravine, forcing the police to retrace his last steps; three members of the Krnak family and their dog vanish, and the police find something sinister at work.
