MAKE OR BREAK is a docuseries that follows the world's best surfers as they battle for the world title at the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour. The series offers an intimate deep dive into the aspirations, challenges, accomplishments, and personal lives of the surfers who compete to remain on the elite 2021 Men's and Women's WSL Championship Tour, while taking viewers on a journey to surfing locations across the globe. MAKE OR BREAK chronicles the 2021 competition, navigating as the league responds to the global pandemic, while exploring the dynamic surfing culture along with timely issues, including diversity, mental health, and the physical impact of the sport. Featured Season 1 surfers include champions Kelly Slater, Stephanie Gilmore, Gabriel Medina, Tyler Wright, Italo Ferreira, and Tatiana Weston-Webb. Other notable surfers in the seven-episode first season are: Morgan Cibilic, Johanne Defay, Leonardo Fioravanti, Jeremy Flores, John John Florence, Filipe Toledo, Kanoa Igarashi, Matt McGillivray, Isabella Nichols, and Jack Robinson. The entire seven-episode first season dropped on Friday, April 29, 2022 on Apple TV+. When Season 1 debuted, Season 2 of MAKE OR BREAK was already in production, following the 2022 Championship Tour.

MAKE OR BREAK returned for its second season on Friday, February 17, 2023 on Apple TV+, as the streaming service released the first four episodes of the new season. The final four installments of Season 2 debuted one week later on Friday, February 24. The series returns to the world of professional surfing, offering an intimate deep dive into the aspirations, challenges, accomplishments and personal lives of the surfers who compete to remain on the elite Men's and Women's World Surf League Championship Tour. This season will take viewers on location for the 2022 competition season to stunning surf locations across the globe, capturing the highs and lows of the "Dream Tour," including the first-ever mid-season cut, international rivalries and record-breaking upsets. In the penultimate episode, "A Storm Is Brewing," teh top five contenders emerge, as Italo Ferreira attempts to stake his claim at a wave known as The End of the Road. In the season finale, "The Champions," Stephanie Gilmore doubles down on strategy as the top five women and the top five men compete for the 2022 World Championship titles.
