Plot Synopsis

Starring and executive produced by Matt LeBlanc, MAN WITH A PLAN is a half-hour sitcom about Adam Burns, a Pittsburgh-based contractor who starts spending more time with his kids when his wife goes back to work, forcing him to discover the truth all parents eventually realize: their little angels are maniacs. Adam feels fully equipped to take on more parenting responsibilities while his self-assured wife, Andi, returns to the workforce after being a stay-at-home mom for 13 years. However, Adam is blindsided by how tough it is to wrangle three messy kids who can't live without Wi-Fi. Their preteen daughter, Kate, is a master manipulator and initially thrilled that "Daddy Fun Times" is taking over; middle child Teddy can't seem to keep his hands out of his pants despite constant reminders; and their precious youngest, Emme, is nervous about starting kindergarten under the stern supervision of Mrs. Rodriguez. But with Andi's encouragement and advice from a couple of equally stressed parents, Marie and Lowell, Adam takes charge of his brood, lays down the law and discovers he's going to "nail" this job.

The sophomore season of MAN WITH A PLAN premiered on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 8:30pm ET/PT in CBS, with Victoria Justice guest starring as Andi and Adam's new babysitter. In the season opener, "The Silver Fox," Andi hires a pretty, young babysitter, Sophia (guest star Victoria Justice), to watch the kids, and gets jealous when her daughter, Kate, goes to her instead for advice. Also, Sophia tells Adam she has the hots for him.

Season 3 of MAN WITH A PLAN premiered on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 8:30pm ET/PT on CBS. In the season opener, "Wife-Proof," Adam attempts to make the office feel more inviting since Andi will be joining him at work every day. Also, Lowell has been hiding a life-changing secret.

MAN WITH A PLAN returned for its fourth season on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 8:30pm ET/PT on CBS. Caught between his cell phone addicted children, his self-assured wife, Andi, and his opinionated, politically incorrect father, Joe, Adam struggles to balance doing what he wants with doing what's expected of him. He manages all of this while running a family owned construction business with his laid-back, quirky brother Don and unlikely friend, Lowell. In the season opener, "The V-Word," Andi's doctor advises her to stop taking birth control pills, and Adam and Andi disagree on an alternate option.

On Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 8:30m ET/PT, CBS premiered "Happy Ann-RV-sary," the series finale of MAN WITH A PLAN. Adam tries to give Andi the perfect 20th wedding anniversary gift by re-creating their honeymoon.
