Plot Synopsis

MARS: THE SECRET SCIENCE is a six-episode series that explores previous and current missions to the Red Planet in addition to chronicling the plans for future expeditions. While groups of scientists interpret data from the Curiosity Rover, examining what lies beneath Mars's surface, other engineers and tech visionaries are designing innovative rockets and training pilots to land advanced technology land and possibly colonize the Red Planet.

On Monday, December 19, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT, Science Channel premiered the season finale of MARS: THE SECRET SCIENCE. In the season ender, "Secret History of a Rover," the Curiosity Rover is the largest, heaviest, and most technologically advanced piece of equipment ever to go to Mars.
