Plot Synopsis

MARVEL'S AVENGERS ASSEMBLE is an animated series, which is parallel to the theatrical film MARVEL'S THE AVENGERS, as Iron Man leads a team of heroes -- Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Falcon. Whether they are stopping Dr. Doom from conquering Asgard, Attuma driving the Atlantean Army into New York City, or Dracula unleashing vampire hordes, these heroes train and live together in their new headquarters in Avengers Tower so that they can combine their powers and battle threats no single hero could overcome. With newcomer Falcon, this series marks the first time in animation history this distinct team of heroes has joined forces. Disney XD aired a one-hour, sneak-peek episode of this series on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 11am ET/PT, six weeks before the official series premiere on Sunday, July 7 at 11am ET/PT. Disney XD aired the Season 2 premiere on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 8:30am ET/PT. In the season opener, "Thanos Rising," the Avengers must stop Thanos from gaining the Power Stone -- an energy force so powerful that it could cause mass destruction -- and gets help from Arsenal, a robot created by Howard Stark for Tony.
On Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 8:30am ET/PT, Disney XD premiered the third season of this series with a new title, MARVEL'S AVENGERS: ULTRON REVOLUTION. In the new season, the Avengers reunite to face an unexpected return of Ultron and encounter new threats like Baron Zemo, the Masters of Evil, the Inhumans, and the futuristic Kang the Conqueror. It's only with the help of heroes like Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange and Ms. Marvel that they have a chance of surviving an all-out Marvel super hero Civil War, and prove once again they're a family and their combined strength is the key to remaining Earth's Mightiest Heroes. In the premiere episode, "Adapting to Change," the Avengers learn what it's like to work as a team again and battle A.I.M.'s latest weapon -- a new and improved Super Adaptoid developed by the Scientist Supreme.
