Plot Synopsis

MEET THE PEETES is a one-hour reality series that follows the lives of Holly Robinson Peete, Rodney Peete and their multigenerational family, as they attempt to balance raising four kids, including one with autism, running their HollyRod charity and spending time with Holly's 81-year-old mother Dolores, who has been living with the Peete family since her retirement from her career as a talent manager. Their daughter Ryan is in college at New York University while RJ, their son with autism, is working for the Los Angeles Dodgers and decides he's ready to leave the family nest. On top of that, Holly's mother Dolores announces she's ready to move out too. In the series opener, "Let's Get This Party Started," Holly and Rodney preparing for their twins, Ryan and R.J., big 20th birthday party, but getting the whole family under the same roof will be tricky. But between all the party planning and parenting their other two teenagers, Holly and Rodney start to realize their kids are growing up fast. Are they really ready for their nest to be empty?

Season 2 of MEET THE PEETES premiered on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. Holly and Rodney continue their hectic lives as they attempt to balance raising four kids, including one with autism, running their HollyRod charity, working, and spending time with Holly's 82-year-old mother Dolores, who has recently moved to Palm Springs after living with the Peetes following her retirement as a talent manager. Daughter Ryan is a student at NYU's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music while RJ, their son with autism, is working for the Los Angeles Dodgers and has moved out of the family nest into his own casita on the property. For the Peete family, it seems that change is the only constant. In the season opener, "Taco Bout a Party!," Holly and Rodney attempt to bring the entire family together for a big housewarming party in the new Peete family home, but find that coordinating a time for the party with everyone's summer plans is easier said than done. With R.J. now earning his own money and living more independently than ever before, Holly and Rodney bring in a financial planning expert to educate R.J. and his friends on money management. Ryan returns home for the summer, and secures an internship at Sony. On Monday, March 18, 2019 MEET THE PEETES moved to Mondays at 10pm ET/PT with the premiere of the "Family, Philanthropy & Fun" episode. HollyRod Foundation's largest fundraising event of the year takes center stage, with the entire family doing their part to make this the best year ever for DesignCare, which was launched in 1999 and has come to be a much-anticipated summer event in L.A. This year, the event will honor Magic Johnson and Holly's brother, Matt Robinson, and has graduated from an intimate mixer at the Peete home into a major production, featuring an evening reception, designer fashion show and a concert under the stars.

On Monday, April 22, 2019 from 10pm-Midnight ET/PT, Hallmark Channel premiered the Season 2 finale of MEET THE PEETES, debuting back-to-back new episodes:

"A Stroll Down Memory Lane" (10pm): Holly and Matt head to NY to visit SESAME STREET to celebrate its 50th anniversary and to honor her father's memory as Gordon. While Holly's on the East Coast, Rodney decides to spend quality time with his boys and they plan a trip. The boys suggest luxurious vacations, but Rodney feels that they need to do something together outdoors and books them into a dude ranch.

"Berlin or Bust!" (11pm): Twins R.J. and Ryan celebrate their 21st birthday together with Holly in Berlin, where R.J. learns more about Ryan's college life and determines that they have different paths to follow, his being with the L.A. Dodgers. While they are gone, Rodney works on curbing Roman's video game addiction with some tough love, while progress on R.J.'s Place kicks into high gear.Holly and R.J. return from Germany just in time for a final walk through before the grand opening of R.J.'s Place.
