Plot Synopsis

A team of expert surgeons work as part of the Alpha Team at one of the premiere trauma facilities in the country, and they exclusively treat patients with life threatening injuries during the "golden hour" -- the 60 minutes after being critically injured, when a patient's life hangs in the balance. The team includes: Dr. Matthew Proctor, who served in a MASH unit in the first Gulf War and recently left a lucrative private practice; Dr. Eva Zambrano, a workaholic surgeon wishing for more time for her personal life; Dr. Christopher Deleo ("Dr. C."), a playboy and, by his own description, a genius cowboy; Dr. Serena Warren, who is fresh out of medical school; and Tuck Brody, the head nurse who keeps the team together while balancing the needs of the doctors and their patients' families.
