Plot Synopsis
Inspired by Michael J. Fox's real-life battle with Parkinson's disease, Fox stars in THE MICHAEL J. FOX show as Mike Henry, a family man who returned to work after Parkinson's forced him to take time off from his job as a lead anchor for a NYC station. Mike is married Annie, his tough and loyal wife, who is a teacher at their daughter's school, and they have three children: their oldest son, Ian, who just returned home after dropping out of college; their daughter, Eve, the middle child; and their seven-year-old son, Graham. Plus, Mike's sister, Leigh, who is narcissistic, single and jobless, hangs around. At the station, Mike works with Harris Green, a slick boss who is twice-divorced, and Kay Costa, a hard-working but very emotional segment producer. THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW debuted with back-to-back episodes on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT. In the night's second episode, Fox is joined by guest star Tracy Pollan, his real-life wife and former co-star on FAMILY TIES, who plays a noisy upstairs neighbor who Mike must confront.
