Plot Synopsis

In each half-hour episode of MS. PAT SETTLES IT, Ms. Pat assembles a jury comprised of her closest friends, family members, and guest stars to tackle real cases where genuine relationships hang in the balance. While she may not boast a legal degree, Ms. Pat possesses a unique ability to deliver candid, humorous, and heartfelt judgments every time. In her courtroom, each case revolves around family and relationship dynamics. Viewers will witness everyday people grappling with real-life problems who willingly accept Ms. Pat's verdict as binding. Each case traverses the fine line between intense drama and uproarious comedy, mirroring Ms. Pat's own life experiences. The "Jury of Her Peers" will preside over a wide array of cases, encompassing financial disputes, romantic entanglements, roommate quarrels, neighborly conflicts, and a myriad of other issues. Ms. Pat and her jury are on a mission to set things right. Although real cash settlements are at stake, the core of every case is an underlying issue that has driven the litigants to their breaking points. The show boasts a lineup of celebrity guest jurors, including Ray J, DeRay Davis, Carmen Barton, Jordan E. Cooper, Jasmine Luv, and more. MS. PAT SETTLES IT debuted on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 with back-to-back episodes from 10-11pm ET/PT on BET, with a simulcast on BET Her.

After a 5-month break, MS. PAT SETTLES IT returned with new episodes on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT on BET and BET Her. In the summer premiere, "Shady Sister Swipe," a roommate is more focused on romance than bromance; a little sister is stiffed by her credit card swiping big sister; a couple clashes over a lost social media opportunity.

The second season of MS. PAT SETTLES IT debuted on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 10pm ET/PT on BET and BET Her. In Season 2, Ms. Pat and the "Jury of Her Peers" once again preside over a brand new batch of real court cases encompassing a myriad of issues, including prison friends & family rates vs. non-prison friends & family rates, imposter designer clothing karma, family conflicts, and court-ordered marriage ultimatums. True to form, each case traverses the fine line between intense drama and uproarious comedy, mirroring Ms. Pat's life experiences. At the heart of every dispute is everyday people grappling with family and relationship dynamics. They willingly accept Judge Pat's verdict as binding as she and her jury continue their mission to set things right. Celebrity jurors in Season 2 include: Tamar Braxton, Ray J, Deray Davis, Karlous Miller, TS Madison, Carmen Barton, and Chris Spangle. Kourtlyn Wiggins returns this season as the bailiff.

In the season opener, "These Clothes Are Real...Real Fake," Judge Ms. Pat settles three cases that include former friends fighting over fake fashion, a social media show turned sour and a couple who wants to make it official...after they solve their loan dispute.
