Plot Synopsis

Grace Devlin, a young female thoracic surgeon working at Chicago's most prominent hospital, moonlights as a mob doctor for the Southside mafia to save her gambling-indebted brother, Nate. But her connections to the mob run deeper than that -- Constantine Alexander, the Southside mob's charismatic leader, has a history with Grace's mother and she has her own past connection with Franco, a mid-level member of the Southside Outfit. At the hospital, Grace works with: Dr. Brett Robinson, her handsome blueblooded boyfriend; Dr. Olivia Wilcox, her best friend and a surgical resident whose father is the hospital's Chairman of the Board; and Dr. Stafford White, her boss and Chief of Surgery.
