Plot Synopsis

Using spine-chilling firsthand accounts, eerie re-enactments and eye-opening interviews with locals and historians, MOST TERRIFYING PLACES is a one-hour series that uncovers the world's most horrifying haunts. There are things in this world that are not of this world. Sinister, shadowy creatures walk among us. From the restless dead lurking in gilded theaters to cursed ships inhabited by skeletal crews, each episode explores earth's gravest locations. But beware, #MostTerrifyingPlaces is not for the faint of heart. In the series opener, "Shadow Factory," an abandoned amusement park, a sinister grain silo and a long-shuttered subterranean factory are forever stalked by restless spirits and malevolent creatures.

Season 2 of MOST TERRIFYING PLACES debuted on Travel Channel on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT. In the season opener, "Abandoned for the Dead," an old asylum is stalked by a sinister spirit, the cursed ruins of an abandoned amusement park are haunted by malevolent creatures, a menacing medieval castle is the domain of the undead and a historic train car is known as "The Death Car."
