Plot Synopsis

Based on M.L. Longworth's Verlaque & Bonnet book series, MURDER IN PROVENCE follows Antoine Verlaque, an investigating judge in Aix-en-Provence, and his romantic partner Marine Bonnet, as they investigate the murders, mysteries and dark underbelly of their idyllic home. Their efforts are aided by Helene, a detective and Antoine's trusted confidante. Each episode investigates and resolves a new murder, with Verlaque and Bonnet's relationship serving as the core element that ties the decadent, escapist series together. Three 90-minute episodes of MURDER IN PROVENCE premiered on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 on Britbox:

Episode 1: Antoine and Marine put their weekend getaway plans on hold when there's a murder at the local university.

Episode 2: Marine helps Antoine and Helene investigate the death of an aristocrat, found dead at his crumbling chateau. But just when they team think they've got their suspects nailed, another body is found.

Episode 3: A love affair seems to be at the heart of a young woman's death in the nearby town of Eguilles, but is it connected to the discovery of an older woman's body in a vineyard kilometers away?
