Plot Synopsis

After sharing their last three vacations with the world in MY BIG REDNECK VACATION, the Clampet family is now hanging out in their hometown of Shreveport, LA. Hosted by Tom Arnold, who narrates his thoughts on each situation, MY BIG REDNECK FAMILY is a half-hour reality series that follows the family's crazy antics and parenting misadventures, including everything from Jared's awkward introduction to temporary employment to Doug's relentless pursuit of intimacy with Wendy. In the series premiere, the Clampets are settled back home and facing a whole new set of challenges. After losing his pet fish, Brody decides to become vegan much to Doug's dismay. Meanwhile, the rest of the guys help Mason deal with a broken heart the only way they know how.

MY BIG REDNECK FAMILY returned for its 13-episode second season on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT on CMT. Tom Arnold is back to host, as the gang faces more parenting problems, marital misadventures and questionable career moves than ever before. To top it off the family decides to take a special two-week vacation to the Bahamas, ensuring that the Caribbean will never be the same after they leave. Season 2 opens with wedding bells and kegs at Chris and Amy's house as Christian joins her boyfriend Shane Payne in redneck matrimony. Unfortunately for Chris, Christian's last-minute wedding is not the only surprise she'll spring on him this year. Meanwhile, after eight rocky years of marriage, Doug and Wendy decide to call it quits. As Wendy manages being a newly-single mom, Doug surfs from one relative's couch to another's while he struggles to return to the dating scene. Finally, Jared proves he's fully committed to his career in multi-level marketing as he attempts to bring in new business at Christian's wedding
