Directed by Andrew Nock, MYTH OF THE ZODIAC KILLER is a two-part documentary that explores the identity of the serial killer known as 'The Zodiac,' which has been confounding investigators for nearly 50 years. But an unlikely and unconventional theorist may have finally shed light to America's most famous cold case by asking a question that no one else has ever dared ask: what if the reason the Zodiac has never been caught...is because he never existed in the first place? Both episodes of MYTH OF THE ZODIAC KILLER dropped on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 on Peacock.

MYTH OF THE ZODIAC KILLER made its linear television debut on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 7-10pm ET/PT on Oxygen, as the cable channel aired the two episodes back to back:

"The Hoax Theory" (7-8:30pm): An English professor lays out a stirring hoax theory on America's most famous cold case, launching filmmaker Andrew Nock on a journey into the world of "The Zodiac"; victims' family members talk on camera for the first time.

"Breaking the Mythology" (8:30-10pm): The hoax theory is put to the test when two computational linguistic experts study the 32 Zodiac letters; filmmaker Andrew Nock meets a witness for her first on-camera interview after years of fear that "The Zodiac" would hunt her down.
