Plot Synopsis

Burned out and taken for granted, working mom Elvira suspects her partner Patrick is cheating, so to win back his attention, she feigns a medical diagnosis. Patrick makes a grand gesture toward Elvira that sends Brigitte reeling. When Carole winds up at a police station, her father gives her a wake-up call. Pretending to go to the hospital for surgery, Elvira travels to a place from her past. Meanwhile, her family learns Virginie has been keeping a secret. Created by Anne Berest and Fabrice Gobert, MYTHOMANIAC debuted in the United States on Thanksgiving Day 2019 (Thursday, November 28), as Netflix released the entire first season.
