Plot Synopsis

In each episode of NEW HOUSE NEW LIFE, one family moves to a different part of America, searches for a home, and adjusts to their new town. Each 30-minute program follows a single family, including: the Amador family, who leave the stress of city life in Chicago for the tranquility of New Mexico and anticipate enjoying the outdoors, finding privacy from neighbors, and escaping city crowds; and Allison Sabia, who, along with her husband and two kids, move from Long Island, NY to Colorado after she accepts a promotion with her company. On Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 11pm ET/PT, HGTV aired back-to-back episodes of NEW HOUSE NEW LIFE, but had no additional episodes scheduled at that time.

HGTV had scheduled the series premiere of NEW HOUSE NEW LIFE for Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 11pm ET/PT, with back-to-back episodes scheduled for four straight weeks, but the cable channel changed its schedule and none of those episodes aired. One month later, on Sunday, April 12, 2014, HGTV aired back-to-back new episodes at 5pm ET/PT, but had no more episodes on its schedule at that time.
