Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Art Mann (Season 2) and Zach Selwyn (Season 1), PARKING LOT PAYDAY is a half-hour game show, where Selwyn and his crew ride into concert parking lots to give attendees the chance to cash-in on their knowledge of their favorite bands. Select fans have the opportunity to answer up to 10 multiple-choice questions specifically pertaining to the band performing that night. The first question is worth five dollars, and that amount doubles with each question that follows -- resulting in a possible grand total of $2,560 for those lucky contestants who manage to correctly answer all 10 questions. To aid them in their quest, fans will have the option to ask for a hint, text a friend, or search for the answer on their phone for 30 seconds if they get stuck. A contestant can choose to walk away at any point with the money they have won, whether it is merely $5, $80 or the entire pot. Once a fan answers a question incorrectly, they are out of the game and lose all of their earned money. The inaugural season features four 30-minute episodes, putting the spotlight on concertgoers on their way to see Metallica (July 12), The Rolling Stones (July 19), Imagine Dragons (July 26), and Coldplay (Aug. 2). After a six-month break, PARKING LOT PAYDAY returned with new episodes on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT on AXS TV. Hosted by Zach Selwyn, two new metal-fueled episodes debut where concert-goers are tested on their knowledge about Motley Crue (Feb. 19) and then Metallica (Feb. 26).

Season 2 of PARKING LOT PAYDAY debuted on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT on AXS TV. New host Art Mann cruises through the Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals to give fans a chance to win big by answering rock trivia. Shock pioneer Alice Cooper even gets in on the fun, taking the hotseat in the season premiere. Later episodes feature concertgoers for: Led Zeppelin (Oct 10); Foo Fighters (Oct 17); and more.

AXS TV closed out the second season of PARKING LOT PAYDAY on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT. The season ender, "Left in the Lot - Sonic Temple," features the best unseen moments and crazy contestants that were left in the lot from the Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival.
