Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Brooke Burke (Season 10), Alyson Hannigan (Seasons 3-9) and Jonathan Ross (Season 1 & 2), PENN & TELLER: FOOL US is a one-hour reality series that invites aspiring magicians to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Penn and Teller see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out, while the live studio audience and TV viewers watch the magical duo put their deductive reasoning and experience to the test. The CW aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT. On Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 8pm ET/PT, The CW aired the season finale of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US. The season ender, "Teller Sucks ... Helium," featured magicians Shawn Farquhar, Manuel Martinez, Martin Daniels and Chris Dugdale.

PENN & TELLER: FOOL US returned for a second season on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT on The CW. Aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller, including Jon Armstrong, Xavier, Greg Dow and Steve Brundage attempting to fool Penn and Teller in the season premiere.

Season 3 of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US premiered on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 8-9pm ET/PT on The CW, with a new host, Alyson Hannigan, joining Penn & Teller, who again invite magicians to perform their best trick to try and fool them. The magicians featured in the season opener include Shawn Farquhar, Michael Kent, Nathan Burton and Nathan Coe Marsh.

PENN & TELLER: FOOL US returned for its fourth season on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT on The CW. Alyson Hannigan returns to host for her second season, as a new group of aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller. As before, anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The series opener, "Penn & Teller Teach You a Trick," feature Richard Turner, Young & Strange, Kayla Drescher, and Mike Super.

On Monday, June 25, 2018 at 8pm ET/PT, The CW premiered the fifth cycle of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US, featuring a new group of aspiring magicians invited to perform their best trick to try and fool Penn & Teller. Alyson Hannigan returns as host. The magicians featured in the episode include Matt Marcy, The Sentimentalists, Andrew Evans, Dom Chambers and Piff the Magic Dragon.

The CW premiered the sixth season of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 8pm ET/PT, with Alyson Hannigan returning to host, while aspiring magicians who perform their best trick to try and fool Penn & Teller. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The season opener, "David Copperfield vs. Penn & Teller," featured these magicians: David Copperfield, Jan Reinder, Ondrej Psenicka and Giancarlo Bernini.

On Monday, June 22, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT, The CW premiered the seventh season of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US, with Penn Jillette, Teller, and Alyson Hannigan all returning for Season 7. Aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The live studio audience and the TV audience watch along with Penn & Teller as they try to figure out the secrets. Penn & Teller see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out.

Season 8 of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US premiered on Friday, October 1, 2021 at pm ET/PT on The CW. Penn Jillette, Teller, and Alyson Hannigan all returns for the new season. In the season opener, "Penn & Teller's Worst Nightmare," featured magicians include: Jandro, Piff the Magic Dragon, Helen Coghlan and Paul Gertner. On Friday, January 7, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT, The CW debuted "Chocolate Magic," the winter premiere of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US, with guest Heather McDonald and featuring these magicians: Tori Noquez, Alex Boyer, Andi Gladwin and Topas.

On Friday, October 14, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT, the ninth season of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US debuted on The CW. Penn & Teller and host Alyson Hannigan return for the new season. Aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller, who will get to see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The magicians featured in the season opener include: Jon Mobley, The Van Hargen Twins, Axel Adler & Chris Canfield. On Friday, January 20, 2023 at 8pm ET/PT, The CW premiered "Penn & Teller Animal Style," the winter premiere of PENN & TELLER: FOOL US, following a seven-week break. The following magicians are featured: Jo De Rijck, Nick Paul, Sachin KM, Christopher T and Sam.

Aspiring magicians are invited to perform their best trick to try and fool the world-famous team of Penn & Teller, who will get to see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out. Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The TV audience watches along with Penn & Teller as they try to figure out the secrets. The magicians featured in the season opener, "Who's Your Daddy?!," include Moxie Jillette, Daxien, The Cosmic Romantics & David Schwartz.
